The Philodendron 'Mayoi' is a rarely-seen, exotic species, native to Brazil. This variety has striking deep green palm-shaped leaves.

Philodendron mayoi is an intriguing species within the Philodendron genus, known for its distinctive lobed leaves. This species is not as commonly found in cultivation as some other Philodendron varieties but has been gaining attention among plant enthusiasts due to its unique appearance.

Watering:

Water your Philodendron enough to keep the soil moist but not wet. You should only water your plant when the top half of the soil has become dry. Test the soil once a week with a finger to test its dryness. Philodendrons prefer to be underwatered rather than overwatered.

Lighting:

This Philodendron loves bright but indirect sunlight. The ideal location would be next to or opposite but slightly offset from a sunny window. Direct sunlight can burn the leaves, so if you don’t have a space out of natural light, try to filter it with a blind or opaque sticker. Avoid placing your plant near cold draughts or in areas where the temperature changes often.

Note: When purchasing plants please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. Depending on season, some plants may be pruned back to encourage growth and deciduous plants may arrive without leaves. Collections or 'mixed' listings for plants will be selected dependant on availability and carefully hand-picked to ensure their quality.
